I can only speak for me, and I've never done anything remotely close to being bannable. I'm not mean to anyone. I don't cause trouble. I know some posters here in real life (none of whom will claim me though).

You may not like my politics, but I am never hateful.

What do you know from funny? You laugh at skillet and don't think I'm funny.

The Walmart markets I've been in never have the hillbillies that the regular stores often have. I've also been in Wal-Mart stores in East Texas (in more upscale areas) that had new model porsches and Maseratis in the parking lot.

UA in the Fall. Recently moved back to Alabama, and was going to attend UAH for a second bachelor's (in optical or chemical engineering), but was strongly encouraged to take the LSAT and get a JD instead, so that's what I'm going to do. For now.

Parking at Walmart would seem to be a good way to get your door dinged.

You must be really smart if you were thinking about optical engineering.

It would be a tremendous challenge. While I'm certainly not bad at it, mathematics is not my strong suit. I want(ed) to do it just to prove that I could, I'm not really interested in working for a company.

I don't blame you for that. Do you worry any about the job market for lawyers when you graduate, or do you figure lawyers can do other things other than practice law?

I'm still going to farm as my primary occupation. I'll find ways to put my qualifications to good use when the opportunity arises. I know enough dopers to keep a fat stack of retainer money.

Now that's thinking like a lawyer!

Farming is good. I have a little farm, but it just has cows and a hay meadow at this time.

You can make a respectable, honest livelihood from even a small parcel of land if you know how to do it. You can operate a once acre market garden, in the old Parisian style, by yourself and gross close to 100k in the right area.

I'd like to be off the grid and self-sufficient, but my farm/garden skills aren't that great. If I lived out at my farm, I could sustain a garden (I think). I'm not out there all the time now, so I doubt it would do well.

I really want to learn how to grow asparagus. I've had some fresh from a garden and it is incredible - more tender raw than quality steamed asparagus.
