I saw one of Larry Leo's posts about a baseball manager going nuts over a bad call and it reminded me of this jewel. The man has passion. Former New York Mets player.

Enjoy

There is one where he is casually talking to someone in the dugout and some guy in the stands is heckling the players. Mid-sentence he says, hey, you think I could hit that fat fricker with a ball from here?

I watched a documentary on the team he was coaching. He was crazy.

I used to get this guy's baseball card in EVERY friggin packs of Topps I bought.

ETA: I love how he calmly covers home plate with such care between tirades.

Minor League Mother fricker is a great insult that I've been using since I saw this a couple years ago

My favorite part!! It's like it's just an obligation, not anything he's doing out of anger. "Wait, hold on a sec. I need to go kick dirt on home plate....ok, I'm good. Where were we?"

He almost became the manager of the Marlins in April.

I got excited thinking it would be recent, then I saw it was his rant from 4 years ago.
