so if any of you were just stopped and roughed up by two thugs claiming to be just security guards on a mis-identification, would you take the beating or reach in for your pocket knife?

Why would you think this? It's private property. Security can follow you anywhere.

I wouldn't get roughed up. I would comply with their instructions. And if they misidentified me, I would receive my compensation through the courts, like normal human beings. I wouldn't resist from the beginning, then start stabbing people identifying themselves in public, broad daylight, as security officers. I'm not an idiot.

No hate here, Sammy. I'm just hoping that every time they get pulled over by law enforcement, or questioned by security, they start slashing away with box cutters. And teach their kids to do the same. The herd needs some thinning.

That's completely what I'm saying. Me and my kids will build catapults full of box cutters to fling at security guards who didn't make the cut.

Woulda thought if they were IDing themselves properly you would have heard "loss prevention" sometime prior to the first mention 14 seconds in...you can hear everything else said from the moment the video starts so doubt it was said...no telling what happened prior though. LP looks like they'd fit in well with some of the less reputable police agencies south of the border SMH...

Maybe some of you are not seeing the same video I'm seeing. When the vid starts the LP guys already have their hands on the alleged shoplifter. Who is to say that PRIOR to the video being started LP didn't clearly identify themselves? Many are asuming that LP just walked up and grabbed the guy without any identification. From the video we can not tell if LP identified themselves prior.

If they already identified themselves why would they say Loss Prevention (which really doesn't extend any authority or sound like a lawful entity) again after assaulting him.

And have we found out what the perp allegedly "stole"? I've heard he just forgot some water on the bottom of his cart.

People repeat commands all the time when they are not getting the desired effect or reaction from the person they are communicating with. When someone is being non compliant repetition of commands and identification are often employed to bring an authoritative tone to the situation.

so you are loading your groceries. Two guys come up that are not Official Law men. Claim you did something and grab you. You yell, hey get off you got the wrong guy. They get rougher and tougher with you. You resist not knowing who they are or what they want. So what do you do? Is this a robbery? Do you CC? Do you fight back? Do you do what it takes to save yourself?

You're an alter, trolling POS and are adding nothing to the conversation besides calling someone a douchbag. Seems like thats the biggest word you know. Kindly GFY

Ha ha douchebag. Your posts reek of that made by a liberal plaintiff's attorney looking for a big payday. I would much rather FU than myself but I am sure that it is pretty crowded up there right now and I would have to stand in line and take a number. By the way, it's spelled "douchebag" not "douchbag" as you incorrectly do. I thought that you would surely know this as many times as you have been referred to as this during your lifetime.
