Well I'm a bit of an insomniac and I'm conditioned to little kids after having so many younger siblings so it was a little easier for me than most

yeah it sounds funny but if you've worked in the service industry you know exactly what she's talking about.
they were basically ordering meal combos that weren't on the menu. and asking to sub this for that, and add extra this, etc.
and they were 100% talking over one another and listening to loud music as they gave their order in an incomprehensible dialect.
