My son is on the autism spectrum, but not to the extent these guys are. Nice to find them something they enjoy doing and making some money for themselves.

If your son has autism you should know that calling them autistic is a bad thing these days, the correct term is "a person with autism".

Haven't heard this. They use autistic as a adjective at the Autism Society Clinic. Like I said my son is very low on the spectrum. He's not involved in activities with "people with autism". Heck, the Autism Society Clinic we had him examined at couldn't differentiate most symptoms between ADD and Autism since they broadened the spectrum to include many of the ADD symptoms.

Yup, its a new thing but apparently it pisses people off, its like calling a person with down syndrome a retard. I have had more than one person correct me when I have said it. Their logic is you can't say "my son is autistic" because by doing so you would be saying that is what defines him as a person so you are supposed to say "my son is a person with autism". I know, its dumb, but it really is a big deal to a lot of people and they aren't even all SJWs.

Nice post. Have two stepsons on the spectrum. One is very high functioning (close to the ADD line that you mentioned with your son), and the older is very low functioning and nonverbal.

I may end up having to do something similar to this in 10-15 years to give our oldest something to do or purpose.

What a great thing he's doing there for those guys.

Also, genius business strategy.

I mean, how could you live in that town and not get your car washed there?

AWESOME! I'd pay extra to have my car washed there. I would much prefer this over gov assistance.
