Reading this thread makes me wonder if the cia/dea/Obama have a Barry Seal of their own.

Of course they do, probably several. How do you think El Chapo got a .50 cal directly linked to Obama's Fast and Furious?

Wasn't he Jordan Jefferson's lawyer when they took all his shoes?

I remember back in the early 90's there was this abandoned building on Standord, just hanging out on this great piece of property where Milford Wampold park is now:

it was obviously a bar at some point in the past, and when I asked about it, and why it was vacant, I was always told that it was because the property was tied up as "evidence" in a money-laundering drug case that was associated with Barry Seal. No clue if that's true or not, perhaps just urban legend

anybody remember that building?

Very easy to do. Those condos used to be a big swampy mess of shite between that building and One Lake Shore Place.

Old OT thread about it right here. My dad used to go to that place Back in his day .
OT Thread mentions that bar across from BR Beach.

Eta: YOU POSTED IN IT.

Ok let's hear some Barry Seal stories, old timers

Well I had at least one class with Barry at BR High back in the late 50's. He sat behind me (I think it was Spanish class), and he would talk about flying all the time even as a high school kid. Seemed like a normal kid back then....who could have guessed what he would get into after he finished High School. Scary!
