Sadly, the Baton Rouge Red Robin closed permanently a few days ago.

I'm going to be on the lake fishing again tomorrow. Trying to set the record for largest blue catfish.

Texas Roadhouse is giving vouchers in the parking lot so you can come back another day without crowds. I'll probably do that and maybe get up early for Denny's breakfast. Followed by trip with kids to Jacksonville Zoo where Vets are free tomorrow and kids are free entire month of Nov.

Nothing, have the day off from work so I plan on getting some work done on my house with a 3-day weekend.

It’s always the weekend warriors out in town in their uniforms and asking for discounts lol

bullshite, more active duty than anyone else. Occasionally see a jarhead in their dress uniform but far and away it's the AF fatties more than anyone else getting a free meal somewhere.

I just don't think I ever did a "freebie" - I've taken discounts. When we were rebuilding New Orleans after Katrina, Outback had a crazy good deal for us - in uniform, I think we were 50% off, so an Outback Special with a soft drink was $12 (with a tip) out the door at the time.

Good times. Good, good times.

I have never gone for any of the free stuff, although it is cool that it is available. The school where my wife works at has a veteran's program each year. I usually go to that and have a donut and some coffee.
