Vasectomy Today and in a Lot of Pain (Update Pg. 5)

Got a vasectomy today at 8am. Dr. hit me up with a good amount of Diazepam and Percocet right as I left. Today was also two of the most crucial games of the softball season. Feeling pretty good I went out and played the two games going 5-8 with 2 HRs and 1 2B. The beers are starting to wear off and now I have pretty bad pain (6 on a scale of 10) in my lower abdomen. Is this normal? There isn't any bruising or anything on my sack that I can see.

That's great news. Seriously, congratulations.

i know nothing of the vasectomy recovery time. But you went and played softball after it?

Dumb arse. You're supposed to ride that gravy train for a week during March madness. Complain to your wife how uncomfortable you are all of the time, smash beers to enhance the pain meds etc..

On the softball field more comparable to Mark McGuire

You probably won't have to pay for a reversal.

Great day at the plate

Why'd you go exert yourself after a surgery? Take the first 24 hrs easy to see how sore you're gonna be for fricks sake.
You got all hopped up on percs and felt euphoric didn't you... Now you gonna die

Who in the hell besides you would get a vasectomy and then go out and play the damn softball game? That is just plain stupid.

Vasectomy today and you played baseball. Just not real smart. You will be lucky that you don't hemorrhage inside the scrotal sac.

Frozen peas. And more frozen peas. And Aleve.
Good luck to you. I had "complications" during my procedure and ended up having reoccurring pain monthly, almost like clockwork.
Getting better now after almost a year has elapsed.

From what I've heard, it's typically 1-3 days with something cold on your crotch and then you're relatively good to go (assuming it was successful).
I tend to think that playing two games of softball might change that timetable. You might want to call your doctor as this is something that should have been discussed before you left.
