Val was rocking a "Cool As Ice" tee while taking a selfie -- a well-timed shout-out to his "Top Gun" character ... since Tom Cruise just announced he's doing the sequel, "Top Gun: Maverick."
Iceman hasn't been shy about wanting to reprise his role. Back in May he posted another selfie saying, "I'm ready Tom- still got my top gun plaque! Still got the moves! Still got it!"

This movie should have all the characters reuniting as retired from service now working as contractors. The characters battle it out on simulators, getting a chance to show their stuff with a drone when the real action hits.

Was going to make a smartassed remark about him getting too much in character for a Doc Holiday reprisal till I read about what he's been fighting...cancer sucks...hope he kicks it's arse.
