Either way, the LGD is supposed to be pretty safe as well.
LGD is definitely NOT safe.
Only safe neighborhood in all of NOLA is Lakeview.

This is bad because he will now say “I’ve been the victim of one of these crimes and still wholeheartedly believe in my policies and giving these young men, including the one that robbed me, a second chance”.
Will use this to try and look like Jesus.
But it is still hilarious.

If only Williams would have been shot in the process so he could get the true New Orleans crime victim experience
This is right on, my exact same thought.

I know someone who was home invaded in Lakeview (they were fine and alarm scared perp after licking in door and briefly entering) and have a family member who had their car stolen out of their driveway at gun point when they got home from grocery store in the middle of the day.
And that’s your “safe” neighborhood.
People in New Orleans somehow don’t realize they live in a 3rd world country.

Williams does in fact live in the LGD

I guess he sold his house uptown on St Charles? I knew it was for sale.
Looks like he moved to 1474 MAGAZINE ST. which you're right that is the LGD

I really don't understand how anyone with any sense can continue to live there. Get out while you can... It's not the same as it was years ago.
They haven't been thoroughly enriched yet.

I'd love to think this may finally be his wake up call, but not holding my breath

This is the best news I've heard in a while

We wish him a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I bet this guy doesn’t get a diversion program if he gets caught.

Liberal judges take note, you have the authority to greatly reduce carjackings with how you sentence.

You ‘know’ someone who got robbed? Lololololol
Its a very safe neighborhood.
And the crime stats back it up.
Also, I live here, you DONT.

Third world countries tend to have secure enclaves surrounded by the poorest of the poor robbing each other.
It’s like pre-Revolution France but with guillotines.

Relative to the rest of New Orleans or Juarez maybe.

Glad I don't. I do visit quite a bit and most of my family is there. A lot of them are trying to leave eventually too.
