I saw it on CNN and today. But do you know how many times this occurs on a daily basis? Lots. This was a belligerent drunk college student. He was obviously not raised to be respectful of authorities. With that being said, the cops were way out of line of what has been said about the story.

You must understand, once you resist, it becomes a hostile environment and the cop must act quick and harsh. There is no more "negotiating" and talking about it. The cop articulated very clear that the tall fella was under arrest. Those kids were standing firm and attempting to close the door. Yes, I'll repeat. The kids deserve everything they got.

Did you miss the part where they asked the officer to leave? Said to get out etc?
The officer was inside the apartment with his hand on the guy.
In consentual contact the person must feel they have a reasonable ability to leave. Nothing about this situation gives the impression those kids could leave.

But you admit that the officer's reason for telling the kid that he was under the arrest was completely made up and bogus? Where in that video did the guy put his hands on the cop?

Do you have any idea what happened before the officer was at the door? Because conveniently none of that was on the videos that have been posted.

The fact that Alabama has not forfeited their shady, sketchy, cheating "just barely" win over LSU in protest of this and closed down the team for the year just proves that Nick Saban and Alabama don't care about the children. And the children are our future, you know...

Does it matter? We may not know exactly what happened but we have a pretty good idea of what didn't.
