Cool. If I was 20 again she could be my cougar. Do you think she hangs out at the Cadillac Café when she visits BR?

I disagree with your first part but agree with the second part.

You can't say that globalization breeds unchecked capitalism, that is making far reaching assumptions. Globalization can be very well managed, and you just have to look at the top players in the world (company speaking) to realize that. You can't apply the same standardized policy to every single operating unit across your company. If so, then yes, that does breed unchecked capitalism.

Do you think Microsoft will be where they are today if they didn't cater to the global market? Amazon? Apple? IBM? Fiat? The list goes on and on. What computer/phone are you typing on? I guarantee you, if you look around, most everything that you own or use stems from globalization.

Please, I implore you to seek out what key economists have to say about globalization, and it's implications on the modern world. If you don't want to do that for yourself, here are plenty of links:

He got too old and was unwilling to compromise his beliefs. I agree with him on 80% of stuff, and appreciate his resolve, but that's not the way to get elected president. You've got to spew bullshite to do that.

His son had a good chance, and maybe will in 4 years. He just needs a better campaign manager

This is a troll, right? Globalism has led to the lowest global poverty levels in history.

How can you look at that graph and proclaim it entirely due to globalism? Why not technological advances? Medical advancements? Increased charitable donations?

Because globalism helped all of those things too. You really think that technology like $100 smartphones could exist without globalization? Globalization made the pie bigger for everyone.

At the expense of the "middle class" of western countries. It's not surprising that, when put to a vote, such people choose to be rational humans with self serving interest.

Rational humans don't give a shite about global poverty, and the economic advancement of developing nations, when they perceive their own quality of life to be declining.

Fact is middle class around the world is in a constant war to maintain their stature or escalate their stature. Why should we sit by and subsidize those who choose not to invest their time and money wisely. I hate the modern socialistic mentality that there is something wrong with this mindset.

There is no such thing as unchecked capitalism. We have corporatism. Hillary Clinton is the lead proponent. Free markets are awesome, we have never had free markets. We have government favoratism which benefits the elite.
