Tuscaloosa teacher/coach arrested after 'touching' 5 female students

Jarvis Orlando Lanier, 32, is charged with five counts of a school employee having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19. As of 2:45 p.m., Lanier was still being booked into the jail.
Tuscaloosa police Lt. Teena Richardson said the department's Juvenile Division launched an investigation after they were made aware of reported inappropriate behavior. According to Richardson, Lanier touched five female students between the ages of 13 to 17 during track practice on the grounds of Central High School Football Field House from February to April.
Lanier is a teacher at Central Elementary Primary School and track coach at Westlawn Middle School. He has held those positions for two years, and also is listed as an assistant football coach and track coach at Central High School.
Lanier's bond is set at $30,000.

It happened in Alabama so he has a valid legal defense if he is related to the victims. Otherwise, this guy is in big trouble.

The article didn't provide "how" he touched; as in high fives, pats on the back or something a lot worse.....anyone know the details?

I have a hard time believing this man was groping girls openly at a track practice(which includes the guys and assistant coaches too).
Not saying this is for sure the case but these students know the power that an accusation holds. I wouldnt be surprised if charges are eventually dropped

One of my fraternity brothers made a post about him on FB yesterday and I didn't know what the hell he was alluding to. This makes a lot of sense now. I will find out details and share as they come.

I thought the same thing. This sounds like a clique of girls who don't like a coach so they're getting rid of him. Not saying that's the case here, but I'm highly suspicious.
