The video is awesome.

We could do all kinds of things with Rc 20 years ago. But like you said, being able to see the fish makes all the difference now.

Cool.
I'm thinking of using a couple of drones to scare ducks towards the blind. Especially if they land out of range.

I think they created a rubber band setup to avoid that issue. I wish they would describe that a bit better.

This is really cool.

In the comments somone said they attached a key ring to drone. Then slid fishing line between the rings of the key ring. The line slides out when tension applied. Still would have to test 100 times before trying over water.

This is really neat. Does anyone know how they are doing this?

don't see why taking the little fitting off of an outrigger wouldn't work

Yay! Because we all know there are too many tuna in the sea, and we need to employ all the most effective technology we have.

I know right because recreational surf and beach fisherman are killing the worlds stock..

Crazy they did that from a beach but we've been fishing Tuna with Kites off the LA Coast for decades. It's fun if it's not too windy or calm and adding a camera to the mix would be some next level stuff.

For those wondering, a release clip similar to an outrigger or a rubber band was used so the line breaks away from the drone with a bite.

This could be used at the rigs in the summer. When the tuna come up and start jumping sometimes they are hundreds of yards away.

Launch the drone with a live hardtail and fly it right into the school. Would reduce spooking them with the boat.

That video got me to thinking, trust me. Frick a kite and all the pain in the arse shite that comes with it. I want to move my bait wherever I want so I can put my bait where the Tuna start busting. Inevitably, it ALWAYS happens 50 yards from where my baits are, like fricking Murphy's Tuna Law or something...
