Tulane Students pummel and knock unconscious robber in New Orleans

Its ashame they didn't show a picture of Jose Orellana and the damage they did to his body after they beat the shite out of him but at least the police showed up in time before they killed this guy.

NOPD ARRESTS MAN IN BROADWAY STREET ARMED ROBBERY
NEW ORLEANS – Today, the NOPD arrested 26-year-old Jose Orellana just minutes after he robbed a couple earlier this morning in the 1300 block of Broadway Street. .
Just before 3:00 a.m., a male and female were walking in the block when Orellana approached them. Orellana placed an object in the male victim’s back and demanded his property. The suspect grabbed the female victim’s purse and attempted to flee. The couple tackled Orellana to the ground and grabbed the object from his hand. The victims believed that Orellana was armed with a gun. The victims later learned, Orellana was in possession of a rivet punching tool. The couple held Orellana on the ground until the police arrived.
In less than five minutes, Second District Officers John Castelin and Joseph Gueldner arrived on the scene and quickly placed Orellana under arrest
Based on the facts and evidence into this investigation, Orellana was booked into Central Lock-up and charged with two counts of Armed Robbery and Second Degree Battery.
The Second District Investigative Unit is in charge of the investigation.
