If you travel a lot of course.

However, its been rather watered down. I get put in that line probably 80% of the time now regardless if I have it or not.

Now Global Entry. That's the shite to get.

If you're gonna get violated might as well have a little foreplay

I don't. Judging by the posts, the airlines have again demonstrated their inabiity to grasp the prefix "pre"

I've had that happen a few times as well. When I read your post it clicked for me that is why I was asking. I really don't know anything about Global Entry.

George Carlin handled this a few decades ago and I'm OK with that.

Is Global entry useful domestically as well?

I would get TSA Pre as well ...when I was 3 hours early, but when I was running late...freaken never! That's why I got it .

When you enter the country from international trips, you get to walk past the Customs slaughter line with a smug look on your face only to go to a much shorter line to answer a couple of questions. Also, you don't have to fill out the re-entry paperwork on the plane...

Hmm, not sure if it is worth it. I only travel internationally about once a year.

I'd say, if you approach flying more than a half-dozen times a year its time to get it because its like being in Europe when you don't have to do a whole lot to get through security.

Global Entry allows for expedited customs upon return from international flights, think literally 30 seconds. I hadn't gotten it yet because New Orleans didn't have an interview office, but now that it does I'm paying for that shite. Customs sucks. $100 good for 5 years.

ETA: Global Entry may lead to you getting Precheck because you have a Known Traveler ID but it isn't a guarantee. May be person to person experience.
