Has anyone else had trouble trying to drop an office or house phone with ATT?

I've tried for three weeks to get rid of our office line and they keep saying they'll close it then they say they can't because it's being ported even though I have a cancellation number. I keep going back and forth with these folks and nothing is working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, had the exact same crap. Call your PSC office, they'll nip that in the bud.

ATT is the devil to get rid of...service wise. I would not use them if I could get a .99 cell with unlimited everything. Good luck with those a-holes..

not that specifically, but the general idea is common.

report them to BBB.
let them know you will report them to the district attorney unless you get a refund from when you first tried to dump them.
