Bitter people make chuckle. Atlantic Ocean, 2 hour boat ride to Bimini Bahamas, fresh water and salt water fishing with plenty of hunting land in nearby Georgia. Love the golfing and The Players. Oh and it's s big banking town which is my industry. Works for me for now.

They picked up over a foot of rain and I don't think they were even under any advisories. Looks like they got hammered

Recon data is indicating that this is still a hot mess of a system tonight.

Another shift to the west as the internet melts down about the "LLC" moving along the southern coast of Puerto Rico

last couple of hours it has started moving NNW with the sheer calming down a bit

The storm moved .1 degree south from 8-11pm. It's yet to turn NW yet the NHC's had its projection going NW from its current point for two days.

I know this is the OT, but I guess you have a boat that cruises at 175 MPH?

I really thought it would get its shite together with the overnight convection after everything else yesterday evening but it just hasn't

00z GFS and 00z ecmwf don't look fun for appalachicola. they both look really strange though because they're having a tough time initializing the exact starting position of the storm

everything that puts this in the gulf also keeps it really weak

eta: it's barely a tropical storm right now... the center of circulation is exposed again... it's only 1009 mb (previous advisory was 1007 mb)... all the convection is to the east... it's gonna look like garbage on visible when the sun comes up
