Honestly it was the Houston thread that make me start this thread.

Well from your OP, I knew what you were talking about. Again, it's not culture. It's human nature, it's just cultivated now it seems more than any other point in history. That I am aware of at least. FWIW, I think your heart is in the right place. Overall, good people can make a good society, but that just isn't totally attainable since values are like water. Sometimes it's muddy as frick, murkey, crystal clear and pure. You'll never get it all the same.

The problem is, especially at this specific time in America, these echo chambers people are existing in, is only making it worse. And it's a perfect example of the differences in people's values and morals.

The eat shite commie, of course, was to your “we above me” comment. Not what you quoted.

Why are YOU lying now?

Lying about what? I’m as Lassai-fair as they come. My discussion here is about family and culture in regards to value. This has nothing to do with governments.

You said

You just go through saying that didn’t matter and society has never cared about this and I’m a commust for thinking this.

To which I requested a link.

Your response to my challenge was quoting yourself here
quote:

I don’t steal from my neighbor because it hurts all of us. And if I know of someone stealing I want him separated because it hurts all of us.

With my “response” aka the lie
quote:

Eat shite commie

That ISNT what the eat shite commie quote was the response to. The eat shite commie quote was a response to

quote:

That is why it must be learned. We over me.

As you can see on page 1.

So, again. Care to link me where

My argument was never with this concept, it was why do we teach our kids to take this to the extreme?

I will never assume that there isn't people in society who for whatever reason or belief system, teach their children that to get ahead in life, you have to lie, cheat, and steal. I am certain these parents are out there.

quote:

Why do we knowingly hurt ourselves to the point that we know it is better to come clean and take our punishment, do some cultures in or society, still preach that you never admit to it?

Again, it's human nature. But yes it's prevalent in certain parts of society. I just believe that, if you are absent in your child's life, no matter what age, they will get their values and morals from the people or person they are around most. If that's bad people, your child is going to absorb that. If it's good people, they will absorb that. So goes in certain parts of society when parent(s) are not around, they get their values and morals from street life or less desirables.

participation trophies, not keeping score in sports, no one is ever a loser and everyone is a winner.

the prog filth created a society where 30 and 40 year olds have never been denied anything or told no in their whole life.

thats why they are all snowflakes who melt at the slightest suggestion of being told no about anything

TDS is just the largest and most obvious example of it

children are just imitating what they see

I’m definitely gonna weigh the options as to whether or not i admit to something.

I’m not gonna voluntarily screw myself over by admitting to something that is unnecessary

You are right. People don't care about society as a whole any more, just their own pocketbooks.

The decline of our public schools is a great example of what comes from this way of thinking.

This is just smart.

If I was ever convicted of anything, you can bet your arse it wouldn't be because of a confession.

Kind of like CNN right?

So what you are saying is that you acknowledge that its exactly the same thing being done by trump and friends because at no point in your whataboutism did you refute the fact that trump lies and denies even when caught in the lie.

"We, the politicians, over you." I think that's more accurate.
