I called AgCo because I've heard good reviews on them but they don't have an opening for two weeks. That's crazy to me.

Any other reliable autoshops around town?

you need to contact Aamco not Agco for a transmission leak.

Just trade it in and get a $60k Denali Z-71. It's really the only option at this point.

Year/Make/Model would help.

Just called them. Also backed up but sounds like they may be the better option anyway.

Both shops are good. I think I would spend 5 or 10 minutes under the car with a rag first. Might get lucky and it will be something simple like a breather tube or pan gasket.

It's an '02 Grand Prix. Just had radiator and water pump replaced and now suddenly have a transmission leak.

they didn't install the transmission cooler lines properly in the radiator. Take it back to whoever installed the radiator

Ah. Probably a trans line. Those GM transmissions like to leak from their cooling lines.

Could be something else but I'd inspect the cooling and return line. If one is leaking you will have to replace the whole line. I think new lines are like $25 or $30. Good luck.

I had a strong suspicion the leak was caused by the work on the radiator by I have limited automotive knowledge so couldn't really pin it down.

This is something they should repair free of additional charge, yes? Presuming it is in fact the issue.

I wouldn't drive it either. You are at risk of burning up your transmission now. Call them and have them send a truck out to pick up your car.

This is your answer. It is not uncommon for the fittings in a new radiator to be loose.

You may be able to see the leak. Crank the car and look at the lines that are screwed into the engine side of the radiator.

Yes, the shop should fix this for free, because it is their mistake.

Probably a quick-connect on the radiator where the trans line hooks up. Take it back to where the radiator was replaced.

well, tell them to send a grunt out there to fix the car. He doesn't need to risk burning up his transmission the shop wouldn't replace from him knowingly driving it with a leak.
