I've been using the thin wallet for 4 years. Don't know if I could go back to the Costanza.

The key for me is to not carry cash. Nothing but cards- driver's license, medical license, debit card, AMEX, Visa, health insurance. I usually keep a few gift cards in the middle because I'd forget about them if I didn't see them often.

When we go on a trip or to an event (fair, farmer's market, etc), I'll break out a money clip for the front pocket.

Like someone said above, I only care my credit card and drivers license, and maybe $30. I have a wallet iphone case that holds 3 cards.

I used to carry a money clip with a few cards, but I just don't need that stuff daily, it stays in my console. If my car gets broken into, I'm maybe a little more screwed. But I don't have to worry about keeping up with a wallet and a phone.

Best decision I ever made. If you're keeping receipts for work, take a picture.

That's an expensive binder clip

I recently switched to this

4 cards in the center. ID, debit, credit, insurance. Can squeeze in 5 but don't want the leather to stretch, so I just keep any other ones I may need in my car. Can probably fit up to 10 bills on each side, but you can just put in 1 and it's not going to fall out. I don't spend cash but like to have it on me just in case. Hundreds on one side and 20-10-5 on the other. I'm also terrible at keeping up with a pen and never have one when I need one, so the space pen loop is nice. I haven't carried in my back pocket in 5 or 6 years, switched to this from a phone case/wallet.

I went with a leather card holder/money clip. I rarely carry cash, and if I do it is a few 20s and maybe some singles. It says it holds up to 6 cards on each side. In one side I currently have a DL, CCW card, Car insurance paper card, CFA calendar card, and a small metal tool thing. The other has a debit card, cc, Sam's membership card, and my badge to unlock doors at work. The badge is a little thicker. I could probably squeeze another card in each side but don't really need to. I took pictures of my health and dental insurance cards. Any other ones I never used and they took up space, like a zoo membership card or a hunting license. I just have those in a spot at home I can grab when I leave.

You don't. I just keep all the extra shite in my work bag or my car. Once you transition to a couple CC, debit card and your DL, you realize how little you use everything else.

Do you accumulate that many receipts daily? Do you need to carry more than $100 daily?

Put receipts in your pocket and offload daily either at home, office, or even car or briefcase if you're a huge traveler.

I keep a handful of cards in my thin wallet (but even then have a few I don't really need) and either a few $20s or carry cash in front pocket. I keep other cards either in briefcase or car.

Front Pocket Wallet has:
3 Cards - Personal Debit, Personal CC, Corporate CC
Health Insurance
Bills
Couple of business cards

I keep the rest in a traveler's RFID Wallet in my case. That is always in my central location, Work, Home, Hotel when traveling - whenever I need that stuff.

I don't need that much on me. If I'm taking a personal trip, I take out the corporate card and business cards, add in some more cash, etc.

Receipts always goto the back pocket and I unload when I can.

I'd love to do this but I keep too much money in my wallet.

The idea is to deposit the $1 bills that get stuffed in your man thong. That way you don't have to carry a metric ton of ghey money.

I have this slim wallet from Allen Edmonds and I love it.

Also, I don't carry cash in my wallet... I was taught as a young man that you keep your cash in your pocket separately. That way you can't lose everything at once...

I have never carried cash in my wallet, it's always in my front right pocket but normally I don't carry cash except for a couple of $100 stashed for an emergency. I use my CC for points and just pay the bill each month.

I have this: Bellroy Note Sleeve

It holds 2 debit cards, two credit cards, drivers license, insurance cards and $60 and is less than a 1/2" thick. Everything else is in my valet and I add or swap out when needed.

The wallet is very comfortable and easily molds to the shape of your arse.

I got this one from Recycled Firefighter.

Its made from recycled boot leather. They also have ones made from firehose. It has two pockets inside, and an elastic strap on the back.

I carry 7 cards including my license and insurance card. I used to carry all my work cards too, but I started leaving them in my truck. Its so much easier not having 3 dozen cards in my wallet.

Cool company too, handmade stuff.

I've used a Dash wallet for a while now and there are pros and cons.

In terms of transitioning to a slim wallet, I love it. I kept my old wallet with everything I don't need on a regular basis in the door of my truck and just carry what I need in the daily wallet. Never really needed anything from the old wallet.

I was a little disappointed with the quality of the Dash wallet, specifically. It hasn't fallen apart, by any means, it's still holding up just fine. It's just that some of the finish has worn away at the edges so it looks a little ratty. I'll probably ditch it soon for a Bellroy.

Fits the follwing:
- Drivers license
- Insurance Card
- Work ID Card
- AmEx

- Emergency Cash (3 bills)

Its super low profile and I hardly notice that it is there.

Why do you need to keep a receipt? You can scan it into a PDF with any smartphone. I use TurboScan with the iphone.

Carry bigger bills. Anything less than a 20 goes in my car's center console unless I'm going to a cash bar.

You don't need to keep rewards cards on you - give the grocery store your phone number.

My wallet has:
-debit card
-2 credit cards (some places don't take Amex).
-DL
-Insurance card
-a few business cards
-some cash
-last week's losing lottery tickets
