And Dorrington doesn't even have it the worst in the country -- that title belongs to Harwood, Mo., which has an average one-way commute of 131 minutes. In contrast, the average commute for the country is a palatable 25 minutes.

I don't think I'd mind a 99 minute commute driving through this every day:

Wtf Harwood Missouri has 47 people. They must work in Kansas City or something, that can't be traffic.

When you live in bumfrick middle America and you commute to a distant city for work, you lose the ability to bitch about said commute. If you have to sit in traffic for 45 minutes in order to go five to ten miles, then you have a right to bitch.

What a dumb study.

How can that even be true? It's less than an hour from Baskin to Monroe, it's about an hour from Baskin to Natchez, and it's about an hour from Baskin to Alexandria.

Where the hell else could those people be going? Trust me, there is not a scintilla of traffic on that highway at ANY time of day - I drive it regularly.

ETA: My house is about 1.5 miles from my office in a smaller city. My commute is amazing.
