Instead they thrown a D next to their name and hope people like this cat vote for them based solely on that.

The word we got from her family today is that she is beginning to have feeling in her left foot. She is still on a ventilator and still listed as critical condition. All things considered, however, she is doing A LOT better than what she should be. Tough girl, and she's got hundreds of prayers being lifted up on her behalf.

Prayers won't do anything. If she is ever able to get up and move again tie this fricking animal in front of her bed and let her slit his throat

If the family takes solace in them and believe in a higher power, then who are you to question this. Whether you believe in a higher power or not, if the young lady and her family find strength in their faith then it's doing something.

I participated in a prayer circle for her the night it happened. I don't live in Winnsboro anymore, but was home visiting family. Word got out what happened to her, and that night about 200 people gathered around the flag pole (largest American flag in the state, I might add) in the middle of Winnsboro to send out prayers and good vibes for her and her family. I know for fact it meant a lot to them and her. So, yea, prayer works in some form or fashion.
So does a blade to the throat, but that's a different story altogether.

Should we March against the people that did this?

They need to start holding judges accountable for these light sentences. It's obvious this guy was never going to be rehabilitated. The only question was what is going to be his next crime. Now a innocent family has to deal with this hardship while they go home conscience free.

Only one person is responsible.

Has anyone seen why he did this? Jumping in her car and driving her to a graveyard to shoot her in the head, then leave her in the car is insane.
Is he just a dick? Was he getting revenge for something?
No matter why he did it he still needs to die slow and painfully.

I went to school with this guy when we were young (4th-6th). He's always been pretty stupid. The fact that he was at that gas station at 6:30 am tells me all I need to know. He wasn't there getting his morning coffee on the way to a Saturday at the office. More than likely he had been up all night putting all sorts of poison in his body...and then he fricked up royally when he saw an opportunity to rob someone on the quick. He made a bad decision, which was preceded by a lifetime of bad decisions. This is the one that will cost him the most.
Fwiw, he will NOT be able to use the mental disability claim as a defense.

Good. I am against that anyway. If someone seriously has that and hurts someone else, there is no reason they should ever be back out to hurt someone else.

I said this from the beginning with Sterling. I am not exactly sure but would think he hit his 3 strikes.
I wish someone would ask the judges in both cases why they were back on the streets.

That's great news. Made me sick when I read the story a while back.
