They said Toys r us is actually a profitable company, but that they have past debt that is killing them.

Amazon and the leftist eat another American company. Keep it going techsters and hopefully, you'll all eat yourselves before it destroys the rest of us

Wal Mart has put a big dent in their toy sales as well.

Man that sucks.. I'm remember my Grandparents buying me Mike Tyson's Punchout from Toys R Us in Baton Rouge.I was so fired up. It was always so fun to go there as a kid.

Pretty sad that kids today will never know the joy of flipping through a Toys R Us circular and marking the toys they want for Christmas.

My kids do that......then I order the toys from amazon

It's Chapter 11, not Chapter 7 so this is mostly about restructuring debt and getting some debt forgiveness.

The Loan sounds like they want to pad their parachute before they fold

It wasn't Christmas unless you ordered out of the Service Merchandise catalog.

Toys 'r Us is not closing a single store. They also have plans to revamp their stores with party rooms so that kids can have birthday parties in the stores. They're also supposed to have open box toys for kids to come in and play with. Should be interesting to see how this works out for them.

I didn't realize the left was big supporters of capitalism. The world changes and companies should change with it. It is really.. Adapt or die.

His point is that the left is hypocritical. They hate wal mart for destroying mom and pops but love amazon who not only destroys them but rapes, pillages, and salts the earth.

We had an awesome mom and pop toy store in the MadisonR-Ridgeland area. They closed their doors about a year ago.
