It is sad when the warm ups for the drum line are harder than the show music. I understand have stock parts because you have a new show, but I would almost rather one or two shows that are musically and visually interesting over South Side Story, Crappy 70's band music, and 50 Latin shows every year.

That is far from what i would call talent.
besides the retarded theatrics they do, they literally just blow as hard as possible out of their instruments to make "music". I find it annoying to listen to.
LSU's halftime is terrible almost every time. Haven't the slightest idea what was done at halftime this past week and i was in my seat the whole time looking up scores on my phone b/c i have verizon.
If all they are going to do is continue to play songs with very little movement, might as well stay their asses in the stands and play music over the speakers, or from their seats.
How difficult would it be to practice something like this all week. I would imagine practicing the actual songs don't take much for college band members that have most likely been playing music their whole life. SPend 15% practicing music, 85% practicing the movements and formations. I'd watch halftime shows if they were like ohio states.

I agree with Teddy. Musically that style sucks. It sounds terrible; they're just trying to play as loud and obnoxiously as possible. The focus is on the marching not the music.
LSU focuses a lot on the music. That's why they're so entertaining from the stands. But marching they may sound good but it's boring as dirt.
tOSU found a nice balance between the two IMO.
