Not if Title 3 has anything to say about it.

Any of the original HBCU campuses are almost untouchable, not by state but by FEDERAL law.

Branches are an entirely susceptible

I mean, Louisiana has been struggling with budget stuff regarding healthcare and education for how long now? After hearing about cut after cut after cut to the education budget, wouldn't anyone have wondered "Gee, wonder how much longer they can afford TOPS?"

What an idiotic statement

We have now hit the point where the "Scott's Tots" program (otherwise know as TOPS) has come full circle just like on The Office

Maybe the legislature can give the current TOPS recipients laptop batteries or blank checks for books (that may or may not bounce).

Pay or transfer

State offered a gift. Nowhere did they promise it for 4 years.

I could understand if they were to cut or reduce future payments but it seems fundamentally wrong to essentially cut something that is already in play, meaning the current semester.

It really won't have an effect until Fall 2016. It's just temporary. This could all be resolved before then

Preach brother. Screw all that hard work they put in graduating top of their class or in the top 10% and that high ACT. You're on your own now. No assistance for you. But good Ole laquanda on food stamps with 15 kids needs our money
