Yeah, which is why I think that 95% of the time its an unattractive trait. I've got a friend who I pretty much have to directly translate what he's actually saying (similar to English English), but I've known him my whole life, and his sarcasm to people who haven't known him for a while can come off as assholery. Granted, if you've known the person for a while, it can become attractive, but sarcasm is certainly something that's not instantly attractive.
