What is the ideal age range for crossfitters?

I'm late 30s, have always worked out, ran, etc. but looking for something different for motivation and change of pace. Would also be nice to meet like minded people that have the same interest as well so was going to check out the craze (hopefully not the douche side you hear about which I'm sure is a very small percentage). Was just curious about the age range and is late 30s too old.

Thanks in advance

I am 22 and do CrossFit. Fiance's mom is 55 and does CrossFit. One of my workout buddies is 36 and just an averag ejoe and does crossfit.

If you can lift some amount of weight and not kill yourself by working out you can do crossfit.

**** Don't be a moron and hurt yourself by not properly learning form/ pushing too hard

You are never too old for crossfit. But if you are older and haven't trained in many months I would suggest your learn the basic lifts and movements that make crossfit before doing the strenuous met cons. Work on flexibility and mobility and invest in a good foam roller.
