Why? Because I belive that parents own their child and not the state? I suppose you're ok with the state coming in and taking your child because you raise them in a way the state disagrees with?

Disagree, if they're stupid enough to let their child die of a treatable disease they are too stupid to recognize that they are alone responsible for the child's death. They should be put away forever and sterilized
