Today I saw a lady in Wal Mart pushing a baby stroller with two baby dolls in it.

She was a Hispanic lady with her husband or boyfriend. Not sure what to make of it. They seemed normal otherwise. Truly a WTF moment. Don’t know why I’m still thinking about it but it weirded me out a little. Any ideas?

She’s pregnant with twins and practicing? Like those dolls they would issue you in school back in the day and you had to take care of it.

I’ve been approached by a man with a can of formula & diapers in a buggy asking for money & there was a woman with a stroller

That thought did cross my mind. I was thinking maybe she lost her children and this was a way for her to cope with it. I don’t know. I looked in the stroller and then I looked at her and we looked each other in the eye and then I just kept going. It was a weird moment for sure.

Saw a woman at the airport with her “baby”. She was talking to it, fiddling with the blankets. I thought something was wrong with the child. Something not right at all as it was so unresponsive. Turns out it was a very realistic fake. No idea what the motivation is here.

The shite people have no shame doing in public is eye opening.
I blame it on anti-bullying. Don't get me wrong, I am not for people beating the shite out of a kid all the time or giving the same kid that cant defend themselves the same shite every day, but I am talking about keeping each other in check. Everyone gets the be who they are and no matter how weird as frick it is... "its who they are". blah blah blah. And they don't tell each other "hey! you look like a douche. Get that shite out of here" .. Then again what do I know?

I’ve seen women who have miscarried or had stillborns late term get some relief from those kind of dolls (the ones that are very realistic). I read a study in my grad program about it reducing suicidality in women who had lost a baby, particularly in traumatic circumstances.

That is strange. There is a woman in my neighborhood that pushes her dog around in a stroller, I think what the hell every time.
