So I will be buying new tires for my truck sometime this year. I've been looking at Toyo Open Country but my coworker has a set of Hercules Terra Tracs on his truck and they look really good and have held up really well.

It appears as if Cooper manufactures Hercules tires so that's a plus in my book.

Anyone have personal experience with these tires?

eta - They're cheap too. I can get a set of 275/60/20 for 850 mounted and balanced.

You may get a better response in the Outdoor Board. Had several helpful suggestions over there when I was looking for truck tire opinions.

My truck doesn't qualify as a "truck nut" truck.

I got my Cooper Zeons for 950 mounted and balanced. That was about 5 years ago though. Still look brand new.

I just put on toyo OC r/t. Have a couple hundred miles on them and love them. Went in to get the a/t but after seeing the r/t it was a no brainer.

I second the Falken Wildpeak AT3.

I recently put 275/60r20. Look and ride great.

Out of the door and on the road for $860.00

Goodyear Wrangler Authority is a good stock size beefy tire. Biggest wheel size is 17 though. It's considered AT, but is really aggressive.

$150-$200

BFGOODRICH ALL-TERRAIN T-A KO2
Have these on two jeeps and my truck.
First set on one jeep I got 80K before replacing them.
Correct tire pressure and roatation and they will last.
Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
