When the cops come, offer them a beer. They love that.

What time is too late for people to be having an outdoor party in a residential neighborhood? Lots of cheering, yelling, chanting, making the dogs bark etc.
hmmm...a regular OT person would just go over and beat the shite out of the biggest mofo at their party. Problem solved.

So basically they're quiet enough that the only reason you noticed them is because your dogs are making a shite load of noise?

Wonder if they have a thread asking "how long do I let my neighbors dogs ruin my parties?"

I have the same problem. I am in a nice neighborhood, rocking a sweet built-in firepit and we have friends and neighbors over all the time. But our neighbors houses are pretty close. You don't realize how loud just regular talking is when 12 or so people are hanging out. FYI, in our 40s and parties are way better. Mostly nice wines and whiskey now that we can afford it.

Weekday 9:00 pm

Friday or Saturday. 11:00 pm

And I'm not saying it has to be shut down at these times, these are the times that I would expect my guests to start being respectful and considerate of my neighbors

I live in a 0 lot line neighborhood in that my lot is 10 feet in the back and 5 feet on the sides, so my neighbor to the sides are literally 10 feet away. My neighbor behind me has a corner cul de sac lot and actually has a decent sized pool because of their lot. Their pool is literally 15 feet from my master bedroom window and the last people that lived there had 3 kids between 6-12 that would routinely stay up to 11 playing in the pool when I had 2 kids under 3 that would go to bed at 8. It sucked, but that's part of being a good neighbor even though they were being jack wagons.

So cool.

Nothing more pathetic than middle aged people trying to hold on to their youth by emulating younger people.

I wouldn't care, depends on how often (frequency) of parties. More need to get some ground rules less like once or twice every few weeks then i dont care. Also why don't you join them

What's pathetic is small minded people who think having a good time should be age restricted. When you get older, you'll realize that the younger you was a moran. Now get off my lawn.

Much different. Maybe i should have said we get together and have just as much fun now as we did when we were younger. We just do it a different way. It's not like we are doing keg stands and playing quarters. We're much more sophisticated than that.
