Come on, man...I like a night relaxing at the park and it can be fun at times, but minor league baseball is pretty boring most of the time. I don't think there is one minor league team on any level that even averages 9,000 fans per game. Also, the teams are always changing during the season due to people getting called up, demoted, etc., so it's hard to get too invested with something that changes so much. With players moving around so much and getting moved up, moved down, etc., the passion does not seem to be there like in other sports where the team chemistry has a better chance to be really good.

it's actually pretty good baseball, no hassle parking, reasonable prices, good concessions, and all seats are relatively close, a pretty good night out for me, as far as players coming and going, well, that's just pro baseball

Tebow had a legendary college career, managed not to get murdered by Aaron Hernandez while winning multiple national championships and he talks about how awesome Tiger Stadium was even though LSU fans went out of their way to mess with him. I have no clue why people get so pissy about him. He's a good guy and he was a winner.

I don't think it's bad baseball either. It might not be the best, but there are some very talented guys playing. It's just that the passion level is pretty low, so it can get quite boring. I remember meeting Warren Morris by chance at an LSU football game before he got called up and he said playing in the minors sucked for a number of reasons and it surprised me because he was as nice as could be and struck me as a baseball purist.

It's all the baseball with none of the emotion.
If you are looking for a roller coaster ride - it's going to bore you like crazy. If looking for a laid back evening and enjoy the sport without the dramatic- it's a good value.

The religious zealots in this thread are incredible. Relax, it was a lighthearted MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL GAME. I seriously doubt Tim Tebow goes to bed at night having a hard time digesting these things. He won a Heisman trophy and national championships for fricks sake. He can take a little heat and if he cant he might as well quit sports. He's still way better off than probably anyone who was at that stadium.
