The dude made good beats, I'll give him that, but I have never understood how people think his lyrics or rapping were worth a shite. There's a very low standard for what constitutes good lyrics in rap today. If you have a good beat and hook it seems like that's all that matters.

Well, you see, the thing is, Obama got elected twice, so that must mean he was better than the rest of the competition for 2 elections, right? And, the other thing is, if you've won 21 Grammy awards, and you're tied for 10th most Grammy awards of all time, then that must mean you're really just not that good at music as everyone else apparently thinks you are.

All of that just means that there are more stupid people in this world than intelligent people... You provided two perfect examples.
1)Obama elected once...country suffers, elected a second time...country goes to shite.
2)Give a man 21 grammys and people think the music is good. I don't care for rap music anyways, so I am biased on this one. There are plenty of artists who have received grammys from every genre that shouldn't have though. We can at least come to agreement that kanye is a dick, right? And that a grammy doesn't have as much meaning as it used to.

2) Kanye West is not a rapper, he's an artist. He's egocentric, narcissistic, and married to a Kardashain, so obviously he's not mentally stable, but none of that hinders his musical abilities. You not caring for rap, and then saying Kanye only makes "noise" is just as bad as the jackass high schooler who told me 21 Pilots is a better group/artist than Prince. I wasn't alive when Prince was in his prime, and don't really care for much of his music, but that doesn't mean I'm not able to recognize good music vs catchy radio trash.
