The real irony is that it will take them probably 10 gallons of gas to get less than 100 miles of charge with a standard 110v plug. Think charge rate is around 5 miles per hour that way.

But you don’t understand. The Tesla is so efficient it makes up for the inefficiency of using a gasoline generator to charge it! Fascist!

LINK

China’s market share of renewables/EV minerals is 2x OPEC’s share of oil. The U.S. is dependent on imports for 100% of 17 renewables/EV-critical minerals; for 28 others, imports account for >50% of domestic demand.

Al Gore has a private jet and multiple mansions. Greta Thunberg sails on a yacht from Europe to the States. Barack Obama bought a mansion at Martha's Vineyard right on the water. Climate change is simply the newest lie to keep the peasants in line.

I guess it depends on how large your generator is and its efficiency. I'm no generator pro, but I'd imagine you'd have to be over 12k watts to even be capable of pretending to support a nema 14-50 plug. 3 miles per hour on the standard 15 amp plug looks rough on efficiency, unless you have truck nuts.

No different than how it usually works. Every kWh mine has consumed came from GA Power burning natural gas.

For the record, I don’t know any Tesla or other EV owners who go around talking about how much they’re doing for the environment

What makes the superchargers so special that they can charge a battery in 30 minutes but a 50 amp wall charger takes 8 hours?
