Those old Pride tapes have some great fights on them.
Liddell v Mezger (favorite KO of all time)
Fedor v Randalman
Fedor v Crocop
Shogun v Rampage
Frye v Takayama
Some of my favorites.

I don't know context, but it's embarrassing for a middle age guy to be fighting a 17 year old under just about any circumstance.

He was supposed to be some sort of Ortiz prodigy or some shite. But hey, he ko'd the biggest kick to the head Ko'er to have ever stepped in the ring with a kick to the head soooo....

This is where size usually wins. Big guy gets a hold of little guy and uses his size, weight, and strength to overcome the more nimble & quick smaller guy. Just goes to show you never know how these things will go.

I always thought the only rule of street fighting was there are no rules.

As a 44 year old man, I've got to say I agree with you 100%.

So the kid should let fattie just throw haymakers at him? Why?
I was unaware street fights have rules. If you're gonna be trash and street fight, be aware that you might run into someone that knows what they're doing.

there are no referees in the street. You want to be trash and put yourself in a situation where anything could possibly happen you've put yourself in an irresponsible situation and deserve whatever comes your way.Well , not like getting shot or some shite like that but you know what i mean.

Meh, to each his own. When we were young bucks we would have broke up the wrestling match and made them stand up a fight like men.
Understand, to someone like us, grabbing and holding on showed you real fear of actually being in a FIST fight.
Like it or not, it's just how it was done back in the day before pussies started with the knives/guns bullshite.

Is it not manly to fight to your strengths?

Not sure what you're considering "back in the day", but I've been around for a long time and pretty much the only "rule" I'm aware of when it comes to two other dudes fighting, is you stay out of it and let them hash it out among themselves however they see fit. Now you break it up when it's clear it's over or it looks like one is literally about to kill the other. But that's really it.
