Not at all trying to do that. Just proving a point that the OP is wrong. Wear whatever the hell you want. I wear a $19 Hanes cotton pullover from Wal-Mart (the trashy kind
) half the time anyway.

I saw this article about the "greatest hoodie ever", and wound up checking out the American Giant website...I didn't buy the hoodie, but bought one of their baseball jackets instead. It is absolutely the best baseball jacket I've ever seen. They definitely make a superior product.

I remember reading the Slate article a couple years back, but I couldn't remember the name of the company. Thanks OP, I'll buy one of these when it gets colder.
