Have any of you ever tried skim boarding in shallow water in a grass field? I'm pretty sure I still have my board in my storage room. I busted my arse pretty good when I tried it at the beach but I feel like I would be more in my element here in my backyard. Any tips/suggestions?

Avoid downed powerlines. Other than that, it's pretty fun.

We use to do this all the time. Just walk your path a couple times to get rid of any sticks or other debris that would hurt if you fell on it. Enjoy!

Used to do this while being pulled behind a golf cart in Beau Chene. Good times.

Just did it and it was fricking badass! I have a drain that is pumping out a nice flow of water right now and I was able to slide for a good 20 feet. I may go out there with my gopro for you guys!

Buddy of mine died jet skiing during a flood. He was the typical "watch this" guy.

If I could pick how I die, jet skiing in a flood would be right at the top of my list.

Do it with your handgun holstered on your hip. Report back what your neighbor says.

Please don't do it near homes. May cause wake into homes on verge of flooding.
