If you're going to Lafayette, might as well go to Mamou, Eunice, or Church Point. We went out that way a few years ago and had a fricking blast. I'm from Tennessee originally. I've done New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Houma, Lockport, plus the prairie courirs. I recommend everyone try one of the courirs at least once. Met some great people. Met some shitty people. Had some good drinks. Had some bad drinks. At the end of the day[s], it was all a good time. Do it.

My New Iberia in laws go to Houma with a big crew every year and seem to have a blast, but they go with 35-50 people. It's probably fun anywhere with that many people in party mode.

If you don't have a good time at Spanishtown, then you can't have fun anywhere. Hell of a good time. One of my favorites.

This will be my first Mardi Gras since moving to Lafayette. I hear its a good time. Looking forward to next Saturday. Alabama vs Cajuns baseball around 2, parade rolls at 6:30. Should make for a good day.
