I live in Vestavia. Maison de Cove isn't cookie-cutter though. I do get the 31/150/280 thing.

Go to the above link, and look for the cities that surround Birmingham in size; there is something more noteworthy to visit for in he 6-8 cities around the same size than the most noteworthy thing that Bham offers.
