Things kids do today that you would have been taken to the woodshed for...

Today, I was trying to turn left coming out of the school, but when the light turned green, some little punk was crossing the street and decided to slow down to a crawl to keep people from turning onto the street that he was crossing. When he got to the other side, he resumed normal speed. If my folks had seen me do that, it would have been time for a switch.
Aside from clothing choices and general disrespect, what do kids do today that would not have cut it when you were a kid?

Any self entitlement where I disrespected another adult. I see kids get away with this all the time. I'm only 37, but if I had done that, my dad would have beat me right then and there, made me apologize publicly, then I would have lost some shite at home.

When I was a kid in elementary school in Dekalb county Ga, they still had corporal punishment. back sass a teacher or dont turn in your homework, or frick around on the playground and that arse was gonna get spanked.
I think i got waled on 3 times between 1st and 3rd grade. Each time my parents got notified and I got another arse whipping at home.
None of that happens now and kids in school are shitheads. I have a daughter in law who teaches 4th grade and the little bastards are terrible. Exccept for hispanic kids. You tell their mama they have misbehaved, and they wont sit down for a week. A white kid or a black kid...oh hell no. its the teachers fault.
