Dean was probably like 60 in that pic. Motherfricker lived like a maniac. He probably had a blast but paid for it in those rough older years.

he was 78 when he died, so my guess he was over 70 in that photo, probably close to 75. He died of lung cancer.

He was 64 for Cannonball Run and 67 for the sequel. While he wasn't a spring chicken, he didn't hit the wall until he was mid-70s or so.
We should all be so lucky to live so well/outrageously and be in decent enough shape into our 70s.

If you want to see something hilarious, but completely politically incorrect and racist (by today's standards), watch the Dean Martin Roast of Sammy Davis, Jr. on youtube. Black jokes, Puerto Rican jokes, spousal abuse jokes, Jewish jokes....
It's not mean spirited, includes some all-time great comedians and entertainers, and is as funny now as it was back then. (yes, I'm old)
