yesterday driving on Airline at jefferson, noticed a yellowish dog in the large grassy medians at that intersection.
drove by an hour later and it was still there.
This morning I didnt see it, but on way home it was in the same area so its been there at least 2 days. It looks terrified.
I went and got some burgers and some water to try to feed it, I spent over an hour circling the area, parking on the shoulders near it, but as soon as I opened door it would take off forcing to me to loop around and try again.
the traffic is terrible there, and what shoulders there are are half covered by long grass, so its hard to tell if there is a dropoff.
yesterday it was by the trees in the area (the square on the map), today it was by that circle, laying down in the concrete trench that runs thru there.
Im going to call animal control tomorrow but if anyone could take a try it looks like it could use a home. prob 40-50 lbs
