About the race situation. Everyone has their opinion.

If there is a solution, please post it here.

Obey the cops
Or, just don't engage in criminal activity

Honestly, I think when it comes down to it, its more about class and uneducated. There are good and bad people from all races. It will take more and more people to be open minded and realize its not all blacks vs all whites, not all blacks think this way while all whites think that way.

I was at a middle school football game two nights ago where the crowd was about 50-50 black-white. Everybody got along fine. Most people just want to be left alone and live their lives. Good to keep in mind that the internet and cable news want your eyeballs, and they get them by showing you mayhem. But they're not showing you reality.

I, as white American have been targeted by AA.s.

The means by which they employ are in their various fashion:

Walking slowly across a walkway that I have facilitated,

Demanding that I place currency in their hand as opposed to laying it out on the counter so that it could be easily counted.

Assuming a racial bias based on my white skin.

Quite honestly, I don't see how the bridge of differing opinions can be resolved.

Each side claims rectitude and both sides come up short.

The solution is the same one it's always been. Have an intact family with Mom and Dad in the home, take education seriously,be purposeful about your life, accept responsibility for your actions, get a job and stay away from social pathology and criminality. Teach that to your children. Pretty simple.

Here's what you don't do. You don't have kids out of wedlock, treat school like a joke, depend on the government for financial support and expect the streets to raise your kids. Even before you introduce criminality and social pathology that's a recipe for disaster.

People that share values get along. If you refute and reject the values that Americans have always used to be successful, and then in a miracle of irrationality, blame them for your failures, you can't really have any expectation that things will ever change.

That's kind of simple. The world is more complex.

^This right here. My dad, the son of a police chief, imparted on me when I was young the same words his pops (the cop) told him,
"Do whatever a cop tells you to do, because if you don't, in one way or another, they can, and if given the right motivation, will frick your world up."

I'm white. Haven't had so much as a speeding ticket in 25 years. I'm treated special I guess.

No that's complex. Simple is pandering to failure and resentment and expecting anything other than failure and resentment.

It's pretty simple. Uneducated people that don't value life or family structure and only care about getting checks a couple times a month wonder why so many hard working people are finally getting fed up with their shite and don't care about being called racist.

I may be more understanding to BLM if someone could prove oppression to me
Every child gets an education
Public schools in lower income areas get the same if not better equipment
There's college grants as well

It is not about race. It is about poor and uneducated.

The fact is, is that a higher percentage of black people are poor and uneducated. This is most likely because of their history and slavery.

To help black people make up ground, the government has enacted things like Affirmative Action, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Programs, Minority Scholarships, Etc. In each of these programs, more qualified entities may get passed up because of the color of a person's skin.

If you think that Black People are systematically oppressed in this day and age, then frick you.

It will take time for black people ( as a whole ) to catch up, but to try and force it unnaturally, is wrong and will only destroy race relations.

If things continue the way they are, there will be a major pushback, and our black brothers will find themselves on the losing end.

I agree with obeying cops, but this is why most people dislike cops. They shouldn't be able to frick someone's world up simply off their motivation.

It's usually not a problem, but we all know there's bad apples in the bunch.

This X100. Get every black preacher and community organizer to say this over and over. Put it on billboards. Run commericials. Stop looking for bullshite scapegoats for your problems.
Seems like pretty normal things for most people to understand.
