I just renewed last week- 5 months for $25 and I didn't even have to negotiate, I just asked if I could renew my last deal. They at first offered a year for $99.

They said they can't do 6 months for $30, but offered 5 months for $25.

That's what they give me when I call to cancel. I'm in probably my 6th round of the 5 month deal. I really don't care if they cancel it because I rarely listen to it, but they keep offering the $5 a month to me so it's like I have no choice but to keep it. Lol

Anybody ever got them to throw in online streaming or app streaming with a deal? I'd like to be able to do that at work. Just curious if there is a deal for that as well

Yes, you have to get the top tier package. And it's not going to be $5 a month. I think mine was 6 months for $50. That way, I get nfl and streaming

I had the streaming during the free trial, and I really liked it. It offers channels beyond what you get in the car. But they want a pretty good price for that feature.

I have Spotify, but sometimes I liked running the XM stations at home on my phone just for a little more randomness and variety.

Hell, I might be more willing to pay for streaming-only than to have it in the car.

I have an Internet subscription with one of their Internet radios. You can also access it online with phone/laptop and stream.

Sounds like an antenna problem.. Do you live in the mountains or around very tall trees? Do you drive in a tunnel all day long?

anyone got a better deal on their travel link service? $2 a month is not worth is as I can pick up my phone but sometimes it's nice to touch the screen and see weather.

My sons truck just renewed automatically. 12 months of $218. I called as everyone suggested. Told them I was canceling. 3 different reps all said that we don't want you to do that. I countered each by saying that I wanted to be treated fairly. Declined each offer then after the 4th offer I decided to accept 5 months for $30. $6 a month vs the $18 that I was set to be billed for. What a racquet!! What a joke!!! And by the way insist on talking to someone in the US not the Phillipines who always answer!!

Called to cancel my renewal. They didn't fight me or offer me the same deal.

Will wait until I get an offer in the mail I guess. I never use it anyway.

Unfortunately I don't have the radio anymore but I had Sirius for 5+ years at one time for free. I had installed a DVD/NAV system in my old truck and connected an add on Sirius receiver to it. When I sold that truck I took it out and put the factory radio back in. My subscription expired while I had that radio sitting in my garage while I procrastinated installing it into my new truck. When I finally got around to installing it and powered it on, Howard 100 was on. I knew that wasn't normal for a non-activated radio but as I scanned thru the channels I had them all and didn't pay for it for the next 5 years. My heart would skip a beat every time I got in the car and the radio said "updating channels". I thought for sure they'd finally stop my service but it never went away and I ended up selling that truck and the buyer wanted the radio system with it so I let it go.

And on the subject, my wife and I have been playing the "cancel my service" game with Sirius now for a couple years. It's worth a 20 minute phone call to get the savings.
