This place has become a 200 million dollar train wreck. Plenty of people got fricked over in its development. I'm just wondering how in the hell was Tommy Spinosa able to get financial backers for Rouzan given all the legal shite he's been mired in? Any thoughts?

I know nobody will read my status but sometimes, when I’m bored, I get wrapped up in a sleeping bag and lather butter all over myself and slide around the kitchen floor pretending I’m a slug

I've got a friend who purchased a condo there for $350k when they first opened; it's worth half of that now.

How is that the fault of the developer or the financiers?

It's just like any other real estate.

Perkins Rowe itself is a cool little area.

Baton Rouge is what killed it.

I don't really see Perkins Rowe declining much even though it was a mistake to let apple bees in and build it across from a bus stop and bww.

Full of dindunuffins after 8. Makes it a lot sketchier than it was when it opened. Theyve had trouble repairing the image since then even though theyve had security guards running off unattended teenagers

Lava Cantina is awesome FWIW. Go sit down, get hammered, and request awesome music videos all night.

Well, after a dozen lawsuits and unpaid interest to the banks by the developer it eventually went into foreclsoure. I would say the valuation drop on residential units in Perkins Rowe had a lot to do with the developer lol.
