Price seems reasonable. Widening all of the doors and walkways is expensive.

You also had to buy individual tickets for rides back then as well (hence the term E-Ticket).

The only thing stranger than the adults that love to go to Disney time after time is when you meet one of them and mention it.The mental gymnastics they pull to explain why it is OK are amazing. I love to prompt these folks and then sit back and listen. They know it is strange or they wouldn't expend so much energy explaining why it isn't.

I can't imagine anything is more OT trashy than a Disney cruise
A Carnival Cruise is like a floating Walmart. There is little trash on a Disney cruise. Not too many trash balls are spending 8k on a Disney Cruise.

Yes, but that was just to get in the gate. You used to have to buy tickets (additional cost) to ride each attraction, or they had discount packs available to buy.
Note: This is where the term E-Ticket attraction comes from.

Not really
Disney Cruises are pretty expensive compared to the trailer lines

You start a hate disney thread once a week. Why are you so insecure?

Full disclosure - I've never been on a Disney cruise

You don't get the spring break and cheap trash on disney cruises. Too expensive. Great for families. Whole deck dedicated to kids where you can just drop them off. Restaurants and clubs for adults only. Private island with an adult only beach. So plenty to do regardless of what you're looking for.

If anything... I found the Disney Cruise Line to be too rich for my tastes. Definitely not trash.

Those E tickets in 1973 were sweet !

Never been on one, but cost keeping the rif raff out is pretty much what you hear from everyone (including in the industry).
I have never wanted to go on a cruise (if I want to drink all day and gorge myself eating, I can do that on dry land), but if I did it would probably be a Disney one.

Just booked a 4 night stay for the week after Christmas. 2 adults and 3 kids. Disney Dining Plan. Moderate resort. $6100.

Your lady friend is a little thick.

The wife and I are bringing our kids for the 6th time (3rd visit for my son since he's only 3, my daughter is 8). We are DVC members so we are getting 3 studios at the Polynesian for my parents and some friends of ours who haven't been. Price for a 7 day pass is about $425. We always have a great time so I've never really understood the hate.
