I realize there are many other nationalities in Houston, but many of them are close culturally.
Im working on an International Trade commission and the more similar they are the more they tend to exaggerate and lead with the seemingly subtle differences

Somewhere in New England. I know Vermont is the least diverse state.

How could any city in the western hemisphere possibly surpass NYC?

A city full of illegals doesn't give you culture.

It gives you nice roofs and nice landscaping

You are correct. The fact that there are more Dominicans than in the Dominican Republic kind of skews this, however.

You can have your diversity. Call me crazy but I'd rather live around middle class white people.

Just moved from Houston to Minneapolis and there are 40+ nationalities represented at my workplace. Houston is diverse, but heavy in the top three/four.

Completely surprised me when I got to Minneapolis, but the level of diversity here is incredible. Interestingly enough, or not at all, I live just outside of Minneapolis in a city that is 99.5% non diverse.

Houston is the most misunderstood metropolis in the US.

It gets such a bad rap from people not from there, but I think it is a world-class city in terms of food, culture, entertainment, etc.

You just have to know where to go.

Anchorage has the most diverse district in Mt View

In fact, Farrell says the country's three most diverse census tracts are all in Anchorage, followed by a handful in Queens, as in New York, which usually tops everyone's diversity guess list.

I've lived here in Houston since 2001, relocated to dumb arse Toledo, which made me feel great for papassitos, pappadous,, etc, but nothing bet mennindorfs, The original Ralph n Kackos, Dons on Airline, u name it, plus, let's not get into when I loved "down the bayou "..
., but Houston is much better than most
