Quite often, the right lanes of Louisiana highways are pretty fricked up in comparison to the left lanes, so I tend stay in the left lane for the smoother ride. I usually drive a little over the limit, but if somebody wants to go faster, I get the hell out of their way.

I used to think maybe that was the reason for the insane amount of people around here who just cruise in the left lane...because I20 was similar to what you're talking about above.
But then they repaved I20. Same amount of assholes in the left lane.
