There is very little redneckery going on in most of 30-A. Even the Alabama fans on 30A are pretty normal human beings.

Destin and PCB are different stories.

If I'm going to Florida for vacation, I'm going to Siesta Key. The sand is beautiful, water is nice, and very little poors.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with 30-A. It's nice, but I see morons all the time have car stickers as if it's some way of branding themselves of a lifestyle "yer basic arse just wouldn't understand"

Right now there's an LSU kappa in a Mazda with a sticker on the back in front of me. Damn gurl, yew know how to do it big. Probably brings her yeti cup everywhere too

Then you need a Tamiami Hwy sticker.

Siesta Key has world class beaches but I like everything else about 30-A more (and it's closer).

FWIW I try to avoid 30-A at peak times, we spend a lot of time down there in the off season. We don't really go for "vacation" anymore. A lot of shorter and holiday trips.

So a salt life and yeti sticker on the back window of a F250 4x4 with truck nuts won't cut it anymore??

I have trouble even understanding if they're trying to brag or not. I mean, in Atlanta it's like the suburban Kennesaw types who do it, people with pretty middle class lives. It honestly seems more like a conformity thing than a "I'm better than you" thing (although it probably started as that).

Growing up, we all went to 30-A. Tons of friends and family have places in the area, and it's just a totally unimpressive thing to brag about. Granted, when we all started going it was low slung houses, One Seagrove Place and nothing else, but still, I don't think anyone finds it particularly special.

I like my NOC sticker on the back of my Wrangler. Wouldn't put it on the family car though.

yes I know, but I saw one on a suburban today in Broussard and wondered if it had any practical purpose at all.

don't be embarrassed of the one on your car.

I'll tell you this much.. The guy that started 30a.com is a good friend. He makes a damn fortune that started with a website promoting a 20 mile stretch of highway between Destin and Panama city. He didn't even have a product to sell. I don't even like his branding, but I laugh everytime I see this thread. He laughs all the way to the bank.

30A, Salt Life, Yeti.... all those are for people who are trying to be cool, but don't know how. 5-10 yrs ago they might have been unique --- now they just designate you as one of the sheep ---- baaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
